John McGlenn is a native of Montana but has spent most of his life in Washington.
Since serving as a line officer in the U.S. Navy he has been a consulting engineer on heavy civil and structural projects like wastewater treatment plants, primarily for public clients. Early and heavy involvement in fishing and hunting in Montana and Washington have led to years of participation in fish and wildlife conservation. He has served on several boards including Izaak Walton League, Washington Environmental Council, Western Rivers Conservancy, Intermountain West Joint Venture, and Wild Salmon Center. He was a founding board member and past president of The Washington Wildlife & Recreation Coalition and continues to serve on that board. John served two terms on Washington’s Fish & Wildlife Commission and was instrumental in the development of Washington’s Wild Salmonid Policy. He and wife Ronni raised their three children in Bellevue, WA. All five McGlenns are Washington Huskies.
