Maria Dolores Wesson’s is Director of Programs for the Commission on Environmental Cooperation.
The CEC is an intergovernmental organization created by Canada, Mexico and the United States to address environmental issues on a continental scale. Dolores’ interests are in international environmental cooperation and capacity building, the application of science to environmental policy, and mitigation and adaptation strategies to our changing climate. Dolores is a graduate of the University of California San Diego’s Warren College, and the University of Washington’s School of Marine Affairs, College of Ocean and Fisheries Science.
